We're excited to open The Learning Experience in Bastrop, TX, and are looking for a caring, energetic, and experienced Infant Teacher to join our team!

As an Infant Teacher, you'll play an important role in creating a safe, loving, and engaging classroom where our youngest learners can grow, explore, and thrive.
What You'll Do
- Provide attentive, nurturing care to infants, including feeding, diapering, and supporting daily routines.
- Create a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that support early development, sensory exploration, and motor skills.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children and their families.
- Communicate with parents about their child's daily activities, milestones, and progress.
- Maintain accurate daily records, including feeding, diaper changes, naps, and developmental observations.
- Follow Texas childcare licensing requirements and all center health and safety procedures.
- Work closely with other teachers and center leadership to create a supportive, team-oriented environment.
As a Infant Teacher, you will:
- Previous experience working with infants
- Be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children.
- Genuine love for working with babies and supporting early childhood development.
- Patience, reliability, and strong communication skills.
- Willingness to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and center leadership.
- Build relationships with families and colleagues, creating a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
- Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children's latest adventures and achievements through various avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
Do You:
- Have a genuine passion for the education and care of children?
- Have one year of professional teaching experience (preferred) or six months of professional teaching experience (required)?
- Have an associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree (preferred) or High school diploma/GED (required)?

Our curriculum focuses on the six ages and stages of early childhood development and engages children in hands-on learning activities that encourage them to explore and solve problems at their own rate of development. This forms a foundation for kids to Learn, Play and Grow under the care of our nurturing teachers and staff.

Each character has a unique personality and area of interest and brings learning to life by allowing children to explore the world through fun and imagination.
